Rock Art of Spur Cross (moderate) The petroglyphs found in Spur Cross were created hundreds of years ago by the Hohokam people. Come and walk in their footsteps as we visit a few of the more impressive sites in the park during this two-hour hike. No dogs on this hike please!

We are going to get out on our Go John Trail and enjoy this 6 mile moderate to difficult loop while getting a work out. If you have just finished the fitness series or weren’t able to make it last week here is your chance to get out there and stay consistent. We will wiggle our way down the trail as we approach the Full Worm Moon. All the animals are out and about with spring here. Get ready to hear Owls, Coyotes and some of our other desert dwellers. Archaeology Expo - Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area - Mar. 27
ARCHAEOLOGY EXPO AT SPUR CROSS Join the park staff as well as the Arizona Archaeology Society for this day of fun and learning. Activities will include a ceramics demonstration, photo & artifact exhibits plus children's activities including coloring and more. Guided hikes will be offered that range from short-easy hikes to a moderate 3 mile/3 hour hike to some of the petroglyphs and ruins found in the area.
